Welcome! So glad you’re here! I began making apothecary as a way to nurture those closest to me. What fulfills me greatly and what I believe is my purpose, is to care for others with love and intention. Combined with my mission of serving the Lord by sharing his word, The Nested Home was born.

What lead my heart to this-

My relationship with the Savior has been my longest relationship + friendship to date. Yet, for a long time I felt I needed to keep that part of who I was and what He was to me, mostly to myself. My family + close friends knew of my closeness to the Lord but, I wasn’t always eager to share this relationship outside of that “inner circle.” It was my way of safeguarding something that was so sacred to me. More recently, the Lord called upon my heart, to be my authentic self and share my faith openly + how he has always been an intricate part of my life. My mission now, is to sing his praises by spreading his word to others in a way I know best- by nurturing through my gifts + sharing His teachings through scripture.

The meaning behind “The Nested Home”-

The name Nested Home came to me as a way of describing what it is like to feel safe, comforted + nurtured in your relationship with the Lord. It describes a place of sanctuary- a safe haven, where you feel most at peace. The Lord continues to be my “safe haven.” Always bringing me back to a place of peace whenever I seek him. My goal is to give you and your home that same feeling when you use my products- a sense of peace and comfort. And by the littlest of touches as in including a unique verse from the Bible, my hope is that it will be placed somewhere in your home where you go to + feel the most at peace. And every time you read the message, you are reminded that He is where your “nested home” is.

About the products-

Each item is handcrafted with loving care and attention. I take great pride in the littlest of details. Which is why everything is made one by one in small batches. It is also my intent to offer products that I would personally use or share with my family + friends. I love the feeling of community + fellowship and so, it is my goal as I continue to create, to source as many ingredients that are local to the Treasure Valley + the great state of Idaho as I can. Which is why I am thrilled to support a local company using a product that is in all that I create and is made right here in Idaho- Plant Therapy Essential Oils.
